Leeds Rhinos boss Rohan Smith says he is not looking too far ahead as his side prepares to face Warrington Wolves in the Betfred Super League on Friday night (Warrington 2/5, Draw 20/1, Leeds 11/5 – Match Betting).
The Rhinos have slowly improved their fortunes in recent weeks after a disappointing start to the campaign.
Leeds have won three of their last four games, and a victory against Warrington would see them climb above Daryl Powell’s (pictured) side, while they would also be within a point of the top six.
A play-off finish is now looking a realistic possibility, but Smith says nobody can think past Friday’s clash at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
He told the Yorkshire Post: “I’m trying to win every game, and the players want to win every game. Looking at the table is up to you guys (the media) and the fans.

“We need to win lots of games if we want to be challenging, so we’ve been preparing to get out there and give them what we’ve got, enjoy the battle and see what it looks like at the end.
“All eyes are on Warrington for us.”
Warrington boss Powell may hand Kyle Amor his Wire debut after he joined on loan from St Helens, while Leeds’ Matt Prior has completed a two-game suspension.
Earlier on Friday evening, last year’s Grand Finalists Catalans Dragons will host Huddersfield Giants at 19:30 (Catalans 2/9, Draw 25/1, Huddersfield 18/5 – Match Betting).
Ian Watson’s Giants will hope to put last week’s Challenge Cup final 16-14 defeat to Wigan Warriors behind them when they travel to the south of France.
Theo Fages is still unavailable for Huddersfield this weekend, while Mike McMeeken returns from a wrist injury for Catalans.
