US Horse Racing Odds: Saturday 29th January

There are seven meetings on the agenda in the USA on Saturday, with the spotlight on Gulfstream as it hosts the Pegasus World Cup.

There are 12 races scheduled at the Florida track, with racing running between 16:30 and 22:34.

Betfred’s “Extra Place” promotion is available in contests at 17:57 and 18:57, while the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes takes place at 21:49.

Laurel Park’s ten-race card soon follows, with the first contest due to start at 17:10. Betfred’s “Extra Place” promotion runs in races at 18:10, 18:39, 19:08 and 20:41.

Steven Asmussen’s Regal Retort (9/4) runs at 20:41, and after winning at Churchill Downs last time out, he could make it successive wins for connections this weekend.

US Horse Racing Odds

Tampa Bay Downs hosts ten races between 17:13 and 21:55 on Saturday, while there are nine races scheduled at Delta Downs.

The first contest at the Louisiana track is due to start at 18:55, while the card comes to a conclusion at 22:40.

Nine races are scheduled at Santa Anita on Saturday, with the opener due to commence at 20:30. There are three places up for grabs in a maiden special weight contest at 23:22, which could go the way of Bellamore (4/1) after two second-place finishes on the spin.

The ninth and final race at Santa Anita is due to start at 00:52, while Golden Gate Fields will host nine races between 20:45 and 01:07.

Last but not least, Sam Houston Race Park hosts nine races on Saturday; the first contest is due to start at 00:55, while the card concludes with a maiden special weight race at 04:42.
