Athletic Bilbao will be looking to make it three La Liga wins in a row when they travel to relegation-threatened Mallorca on Monday evening (Mallorca 5/2, Draw 21/10, Bilbao 5/4 – match result).
The Basque outfit have improved their hopes of finishing in the top six in the last few weeks, and they are now eighth in the table and only four points behind fourth-placed Barcelona.
Marcelino’s side missed out on Europe last season, and the lack of fixtures seems to have benefitted his team as they appear to have found their rhythm at a crucial stage of the season.
Bilbao have only tasted defeat in one of their last ten matches, while in the league they are unbeaten in four.
Mallorca are hovering above the bottom three at present, but their 2-1 win against Cadiz last weekend helped their cause.
They have lost their last two games against Bilbao, while they are winless against Marcelino’s men since February 2011.

There’s also Serie A action on the agenda on Monday evening, with Spezia hosting Fiorentina (Spezia 3/1, Draw 13/5, Fiorentina 10/11 – match result).
Spezia are currently 15th in the table, but their recent form has allowed them to open up a five-point cushion on those in the relegation zone.
They are unbeaten in four and if they avoid defeat on Monday, it would be their longest streak without losing in the top flight.
Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano returns to his former club, hoping his side can win their first league game in three attempts, although they did beat Atalanta 3-2 in the Coppa Italia last Thursday.
