New Tottenham signings Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur will be involved against Brighton in the FA Cup on Saturday night as Antonio Conte continues building “foundations” after a rocky start to life in north London (Tottenham 10/11, Draw 13/5, Brighton 16/5 – Match Betting).
Last month, the Italian managed to bring in two new faces, with both Bentancur and Kulusevksi joining from Juventus.
Tanguy Ndombele, Bryan Gil, Giovani Lo Celso and Dele Alli all left the club for the time being, with Dele joining Everton permanently.
Conte admits he dreams of winning the Premier League title, but he says the club must lay some solid foundations first, starting with some success in the domestic cup competitions.
He said: “To win and [have] a place in the Champions League, you can dream this, yes, but then you have to prepare the situation, to have this target … not only to start the season and say: ‘Ok, I hope to win this, I hope to win this, I hope to win this.’ Yes, but do you have the structure to do this?
“For sure, we will do everything, from now until the end of the season, to reach the best result for Tottenham because I think the fans deserve this.”
Saturday’s tie is one of three all-Premier League ties in the fourth round of the FA Cup, and Conte could also recall Son Heung-Min and Cristian Romero after they recovered from hamstring injuries.
Brighton boss Graham Potter will be without Alexis Mac Allister, Jeremy Sarmiento and Enock Mwepu, but Yves Bissouma, Adam Lallana and Shane Duffy are all fit to feature.
There are two 12:30 games in the FA Cup on Saturday, Chelsea host Plymouth Argyle, while West Ham travel to Kidderminster Harriers.

At 15:00, Everton welcome Brentford to Goodison Park for Frank Lampard’s first match in charge, while Crystal Palace and Manchester City (5/2 to win the FA Cup – outright) will hope to avoid shock defeats against Hartlepool United and Fulham, respectively.
There is also one game to come from the Premier League as Burnley and Watford will finally clash after several postponements (Burnley 23/20, Draw 11/5, Watford 5/2 – Match Betting).
January signing Wout Weghorst is in line for an immediate debut for Burnley, while Maxwel Cornet is available after returning from international duty.
Watford trio William Troost-Ekong, Adam Masina and Imran Louza have returned from the Africa Cup of Nations, but striker Emmanuel Dennis will serve a one-game ban for Roy Hodgson’s first game in charge of the Hornets.
