Final KO Series Main Event Day 1s are Today

KO Series 2022

Time is rapidly running out if you plan to become one of the three KO Series Main Event champions. Why? Because Day 1D and the final Day 1 Turbo shuffle up and deal today, February 7.

The $320 buy-in High Main Event, $33 buy-in Medium Main Event, and $3.30 Low Main Event have seen Day 1A-C completed. Only two flights remain before Day 2 at 20:30 GMT on February 7.

Day 1D in all three Main Events commence at 16:05 GMT with the turbo-structured final flight starting at 18:05 GMT.

Homesafe Leads the $500K Gtd KO Series Main Event

The $320 buy-in KO Series High Main Event looks set to smash its $500,000 guarantee because 1,524 players have bought in across the opening three flights. Only 225 of those starters have made it through to Day 2, and nobody has more chips than “Homesafe.”

Unless someone turned their 50,000 starting stack into more than 1,243,767 on Day 1D or the Day 1 Turbo, Homesafe will sit down on Day 2 with the chip lead. Homesafe already has $618 locked up from the bounty half of the prize pool, so has all but doubled their investment.

Only two other $320 Main Event players have seven-figure stacks right now. “dzonas6606” has 1,132,517 chips and $712 worth of bounties, while “Setmania89” is in third place courtesy of their 1,083,930 stack; they have $543 worth of scalps so far.

Can Anyone Catch “FedKalys?

The $33 buy-in KO Series Medium Main Event is also looking like it will obliterate its $200,000 guarantee because $159,840 has already been accumulated courtesy of 5,328 entrants.

Eight of the current top ten players have more than one million chips in their stacks, which is mightily impressive considering they all originally started with 50,000 chips.

“FedKalys” is the current chip leader and that looks likely to stay that was because they are armed with 1,539,881 chips. They already have $130.30 worth of bounties in the bag after eliminating 11 opponents on their way to the top of the counts.

“Karmapa99” is the leader’s closest rival with a 1,346,915 stack.

SuperSonic1 Flying High in the $20K GTD Low Main Event

The $3.30 buy-in Low KO Series Main Event needs another 2,506 players to enter across this afternoon’s final flights to hit the $20,000 guaranteed prize pool. This suggests an overlay could be on the cards, which is another reason you should not miss this tournament.

Seven of the current top 10 have more than one million chips but it is “SuperSonic1” who leads the way currently. They built a 1,384,926 stack on their chosen flight, a huge figure helped by sending eight opponents to the showers. Those bust outs came with $12.64 worth of bounty payments, so they are now freerolling their way towards the event’s largest prizes.
