Antonio Conte isn’t a happy bunny, and former goalkeeper Paul Robinson has sympathy for the Spurs boss.
Speaking on The Betfred Football Show, Robinson said that Tottenham need to bring in three or four new players in the summer – specifically at “centre-half, wing-back, central midfield and up front when Harry Kane isn’t available.”
The 42-year-old is predicting a draw for his former club at home to Wolves on Sunday – and also reckons there’ll be draws between Aston Villa-Newcastle, Crystal Palace-Brentford and Leeds-Everton.
He also predicts that Manchester United will pick up all three points against Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday, and reckons City and Liverpool will have no problems against Norwich and Burnley respectively.
Regarding the Leicester-West Ham game, Robinson sat on the fence – although he reckons both teams will score and that there’ll be more than three goals.
He also believes that Brentford could be dragged into the relegation scrap, but thinks it will be the current bottom three teams who will be playing in the Championship next season.
He praised Eddie Howe’s transfer dealings in the January window, particularly the acquisition of Kieran Trippier – and warned that Frank Lampard at Everton needs to get results quick.
