Monday’s UK racing sees three meetings taking place across the day, with afternoon events at Catterick and Plumpton followed by evening all-weather action at Wolverhampton.
The first race of the day is due off at 13:00 at Catterick, where there are six jumps races running through until the 15:50.
In the penultimate contest at 15:15, Omar Maretti (15/8) will aim to continue what’s been a fine start to his chase career, after he finished second on his debut at Market Rasen and then followed up with a victory at Newcastle last time out.
This Handicap represents a step up, but he may well be able to handle a 3lb rise in the weights to claim another victory.
Marown (3/1), Almazhar Garde (4/1) and Winds Of Fire (9/2) look the mostly likely dangers.

Plumpton’s six-race card gets under way at 13:45 and the last contest is scheduled for 16:40. In that finale, Betfred’s ‘Extra Place’ promotion will be paying out on four places and it’s a contest Gaot (3/1) looks primed for success in.
She’s a French bumper winner who caught the eye when third of 15 at Taunton last month and a similar performance today may well be good enough in this 12-runner affair.
Finally, at Wolverhampton on the all-weather tapeta track there are eight races between 17:00 and 20:30 with the opener being one of Betfred’s ‘Free Bet If Second’ promotional races.
This looks an open affair with several candidates, but 10-year-old You’re Cool (8/1) is in form after picking up his eighth course win over this distance last month and looks tempting at a big price.
