Monday’s racing action in the UK comes from Hereford, Plumpton and Wolverhampton, and there’s also a meeting at Punchestown in Ireland.
Hereford gets the day started with the first race off at 13:00 and there are seven in total from there today.
In the second contest, at 13:30pm, the Cazoo Maiden Hurdle, Perryville (13/8) returns to action and could be the one to watch after last seen finishing second at Down Royal in June, which looks like a good piece of work as the winner has since gone on to pick up two further victories.
Perryville as switched trainers from Stuart Crawford to Melanie Rowley and this looks like a good opportunity if he can see off other likely contenders in the shape of Paul Nicholls’ Kayf Taoi (5/4) and Charlie Longsdon’s Zestful Hope (9/4).

Plumpton’s six-race card gets underway at 13:40 and Betfred’s ‘Free Bet If Second’ promotion features in the fourth race, due off at 15:10.
In that 10-strong affair, Emma Lavelle’s unexposed hurdler Minella Buster (2/1) is back for more after winning well here last month.
Now on his handicap debut, he will be expected to shine again, while Innisfree Lad (10/3) is also likely to run well after triumphing off a higher mark over fences here earlier this month.
Wolverhampton’s evening meeting over the all-weather track starts at 16:30 and there are seven races in total with the last one due off at 19:30, which is another of Betfred’s ‘Free Bet If Second’ races.
In that finale, Tributo (13/2) is a previous course winner, having come out on top here last February and should be considered today after posting a good fifth-placed finish in a 6f handicap here a fortnight ago.
The action at Punchestown starts at 13:20 and there are seven races in Ireland today, culminating with the 16:20.
