After some early-morning inspections, we have six meetings to look forward to on Saturday, with a mixture of flat and jumps racing on the agenda.
Saturday’s schedule gets underway at 12:50, as Lingfield hosts eight races on the polytrack, with the final contest due to start at 16:55.
The going is standard, and Betfred’s “Extra Place” promotion is available in a handicap contest at 15:45. There are three places up for grabs, and Morlaix (7/2) has shown some decent form of late and could give punters a run for their money on Saturday afternoon.
Haydock’s seven-race jumps card was one of those to pass an inspection, and the going is heavy, with the meeting due to run from 13:00 until 16:25.
There are four places available in the Grand National trial handicap at 14:40, thanks to Betfred’s “Super Extra Place Race”, and it would be a shock to see Evan Williams’ Secret Reprieve (7/2) out of the frame.
The going is soft at Ascot for their eight-race card, which is scheduled to take place between 13:15 and 16:45.

Wincanton hosts seven races from 13:38 until 17:05, where the going is soft (good to soft in places).
Five places are up for grabs in the finale at Wincanton, thanks to Betfred’s “Extra Place” promotion. Henry Daly’s Braganza Bay (5/1) steps into handicap company for the first time, and the form suggests the five-year-old could run a big race.
Gowran Park’s card is scheduled to start at 13:45, with the going heavy at the Irish track. Racing comes to a close at 17:15, while Newcastle’s meeting starts fifteen minutes earlier.
There are six contests on the agenda in the north east, and Newcastle’s card should conclude at 19:30.
