Thursday’s UK and Irish racing is headlined by the meeting at Sandown which features the Grade 2 Jane Seymour Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle.
As well as the action from Sandown, there’s racing at Fontwell, Leicester, Chelmsford City and Clonmel in Ireland on another busy day.
Sandown’s seven-race card starts at 13:10 and the finale is due off at 16:40 with the big race set for 14:20. A field of six will line up for the Jane Seymour Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle, where Betfred are paying three places, with several in with a chance.
Haute Estime (9/1) and Nine The Terrier (7/2) are both in good form, while Speech Bubble (4/1) comes into this lightly-raced and may have a say but Love Envoi (10/11) made it four wins from four at the recent Winter Millions Festival at Lingfield and Harry Fry’s charge will probably take some beating if in that sort of form again.

Fontwell’s meeting gets underway at 13:27 with seven races scheduled until the last at 16:55. In the opener, Barony Legends (8/11) is set to go off as favourite and it’s easy to see why after he impressed when winning well at in October.
He subsequently struggled when included in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham in December but this should be much more to his liking and a first-time tongue-tie may help his cause.
At Leicester today there are six races between 13:35 and 16:30 with Betfred paying out an Extra Place (three places) in the first two contests.
In that second one, at 14:10, Smuggler’s Blues (4/1) and Prairie Town (8/1) may be in the mix after recent wins at Warwick and Leicester respectively, while Eclair Mag (5/2) is dropping in trip and grade so is likely to fancy this opportunity to shine.
The Chelmsford meeting, meanwhile, is an evening affair over the polytrack and there are eight races at the Essex venue between 17:00 and 20:30.
Finally, in Ireland today, Clonmel’s seven-race action starts at 13:20 and runs until 16:50.
